Restaurant Catherine is the restaurant of the Palais Ségurane Boutique Hôtel, ideally located in the heart of Nice. At the crossroads of the Port, Place du Pin and Place Garibaldi, the venue pulses with the energy of pedestrian streets, antique shops, lively bars and sunny terraces.

Open to both hotel guests and outside visitors, Catherine celebrates the French Riviera lifestyle and the Dolce Vita at the foot of Castle Hill, where all the senses of Nice come alive. In an elegant yet relaxed setting, our address invites guests to enjoy gourmet moments throughout the day, before wandering through the Old Town or reaching the Quai des États-Unis via the majestic Rauba Capeù promenade.

The Concept

From the very morning, Restaurant Catherine welcomes you with the gentle warmth of a holiday home breakfast. On weekends and public holidays, it’s time for the “Grand Brunch de Catherine”: on Saturdays, children staying at the hotel are our guests, while Sundays come alive around a “friends’ table” and generous sharing dishes, accompanied by a DJ set filled with soft nostalgic notes.

During the week, lunchtime transforms Catherine into a relaxed neighbourhood bistro, with a changing menu of daily specials and comforting favourites to enjoy on our sunny terrace, shaded by elegant parasols and surrounded by lush Provençal greenery.

In the afternoon, time slows beneath the large trees of Castle Hill, carried by the scents of the Port, childhood memories, the taste of Pierrot’s madeleines and a refreshing homemade lemonade.

As the day fades, Catherine moves to the rhythm of an endless happy hour. Glasses clink together while our Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates stretch those endless summer evenings, accompanied by music everyone hums along to. Between Dolce Vita, golden light and passionate conversations inspired by the seasons, happiness here is simply about enjoying the moment. Sit back, look around and savour it all.
